VOLUNTEER JOB OVERVIEWS:

Volunteers are needed to work in the Delta Society Bellevue office. Times are flexible Monday – Friday, 7am to 5pm. We are looking to start this 3 to 4 week project during the week of 2/26.

Callers – volunteers are needed to call facilities in our database to verify or get new contact information, as well as ask if they have an active Pet Partner program. (Training and scripts will be provided.) Requirements: minimum of 10 hours over about a week time requirement is needed. Must be comfortable talking on the phone – strong English speaking skills. Ideally comfortable inputting data into an Excel spreadsheet – but not mandatory.

1. Database Entry – a volunteer is needed to make updates in our Raisers Edge database. Requirements: minimum of 20 hours over a 3 week period. Detail-oriented, accurate data entry skills. Previous data entry experience into any type of database will work.
2. Follow-up Contact – a volunteer who is familiar with the Pet Partner program is needed to compile and mail information to facility contacts that request such. Additionally, this person may also be asked to make phone calls to contacts to answer some questions they may have about the Pet Partner program in general and how to get started. Requirements: minimum of 4 hours per week for 3 to 4 weeks.
